WESCOTT

Presbyterian Aged Care Wescott is a multi-care needs facility located on the Stockton peninsula, between the harbour and the sea. It is in close proximity to Newcastle, and a short walk from the regular ferry service to the city. There are a large number of communal living areas, separate dining rooms, and activity rooms. There are outdoor areas and gardens available that provide residents with a pleasant and safe outdoor area for activities, special events such as lunches, BBQ’s, or simply for sitting and enjoying.

High Care accommodation is provided in single rooms, and some shared two bed rooms, with en-suite bathrooms.

All low care rooms are of a generous size and have their own individual en-suite bathrooms.

A dedicated rehabilitation and therapy room is available on site.

Support & assistance is available for showering, dressing, medication supervision, nursing care and personal care needs, provided by our highly qualified, dedicated and experienced care staff who are available 24 hours per day. Allied health care and multi-disciplinary services are also available.

All laundry services and meals, including specific dietary requirements are looked after, and emergency call buttons are provided in all rooms and bathrooms.

PAC focuses on designing & providing individualised care for residents to encourage independence, whilst still supporting those with higher care needs.
